Whilst studying at the University of Sussex for her English and media degree, Nicola worked as a reviewer and feature writer at the Edinburgh Fringe, Edinburgh International Film Festival and Brighton Fringe for Three Weeks magazine. In her final year, Nicola produced and edited a documentary for which she was awarded a first grade. Before taking her position at Met Film, Nicola went on to work at Earthstock Films as an assistant editor where she worked across a number of projects editing archival footage and producing specified content for online streaming.
:“The relaxed yet professional atmosphere at Met Film made editing our BBC3 series it was a pleasure. In terms of budget, it was competitively priced to offset its location, yet it’s position was a major plus point. The skills of senior editor Ewan Lawson made subsequent reversioning of the series very straightforward in spite of a very tight schedule.”
